The History of the Puckeridge Hunt dates back to 1725.
Until 1963 our hounds were pure English bred.
The hunt kennels are in Brent Pelham.
Since the Hunting Act in 2004 banned hunting.
Who’s who that keeps the hunt running
At Higham in February, 10 year old Will Featherstone won the Race Tech Novice Riders Series race over 10 furlongs. He rode a great race and kept his cool amidst the drama, as the poor girl upsides him made an unfortunate exit late in the race. He has now qualified for the finals at Fakenham.(…)

The 4th Grand Tour sponsored ride took place at Woodhall Park by kind permission of the Abel Smith family on Sunday 21st September. 290 riders helped raise over £3000 for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
